The reason for the server outage was due to a critical error on the software that closed firewall ports on the hardware. It came across as a DDos attack from the server but it was a multitude of errors that would have taken a lot more days to fix one by one. Therefore a reimage and an upload of domain names was done. Also to meet GDPR requirements, active sites were updated to Nova 2.5. Those whose sites I sit on, would have had their nova sites updated both in software and database; the remainder would have had the nova software uploaded and all the GM has to do is to log into the Nova control panel; run the update; click already has the files, click next step until it's completed. On some sites, I've noticed that I have had to run the update twice.
